CANADA

Canada's birthday is July 1st, In the 1600s and 1700s, people came from England and France to explore North America. Some of these people stayed and started colonies. On July 1st, 1867. Four colonies joined together to form Canada. The colonies became Canada's first provinces: Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Ontario, and Quebec. The other provinces and territories joined Canada later. We celebrate Canada's birthday on July 1.and also my family celebrate my birthday too. Because It's July first.

Anne of Green Gables is my favourite story

Anne of Green Gables is one of Canada's most popular books. Lucy Maud Montgomery wrote it in 1908. The book is about a teenager. Her name is Anne Sharly. Anne's mother and father are dead. She is an orphan. In the book, Anne goes to live on a farm in Prince Edward Island. The name of the farm is Green Gables. The story tells about Anne's life at Green Gables. It is also popular in other countries. My tragic memory

When I was in grade one,during IRAN/IRAQ war.I remembered one day IRAQ jet fighters bombarded my city during early evening hours.As a result,then was many human casualties where several families lost their lives entirely, among them  I had many friends who lost their lives including one of my teacher.This attack happened during winter time when weather was cold and power was put in many neighbors,my family used candles and wood fire to keep ourselves warm,luckily we were safe,but very traumatized by seeing so many people lost lives as we witnessed this scenario.As this incident concurred on January 28,1983.The street near by our home was devastated as the result of excessive damage since we call the same street January 28.
